York County Historical Committee Veterans Day Ceremony

Join the York County WWI & WWII Commemoration Committee and Yorktown churches to participate in a national bell-ringing ceremony on the 100th anniversary of Armistice Day.  The WWI armistice between the Allies and Germany took effect on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month of 1918.  On this day we will honor veterans not only of WWI, but all veterans who have served our country. “Letters from War” is the theme of this annual event in which all veterans are honored.

You can also visit the York County Historical Museum in York Hall after the program to view artifacts and displays from World War I and all of York County’s history!
