PEDEGO ELECTRIC BIKES OPENING STORE

Pedego Electric Bikes has recently signed a lease for a storefront in Building Two at Midtown Row (221 Monticello Avenue).  After launching in 2008, Pedego has been ranked the # 1 Brand of Electric Bikes in the US by Navigant Research.
 

The Williamsburg location will be a partner store of both the Norfolk and East Beach locations.  These three stores are owned by husband-and-wife team Kevin and Amy Oliver who opened their first location in 2018. 

Pedego will offer tours of Colonial Williamsburg, College of William & Mary, Capital Trail and the Colonial Parkway.  The operators are also planning a ride from Williamsburg to Richmond later this year.  

Pedego store owner Amy Oliver explains, “We are especially excited because Williamsburg and surrounding areas have so many beautiful riding areas and there are so many fascinating scenic rides that are possible.  We look forward to the vibrancy and variety of shops, restaurants, breweries and other businesses that are coming to Midtown Row.

Pedego will offer sales, rentals, tours and service of their electric bikes, along with accessories and safety wear. They are also an authorized dealer for Onewheel Boards & Accessories, Thule Racks & Trailers, Hollywood Racks, Thousand Helmets, Sena Bluetooth Helmets, Tannus Armour Tire Liners and Lines Bikes of Venice.

Midtown Row is Williamsburg’s newest city center.  Scheduled to deliver later this summer, Midtown Row will have four new buildings including 240 apartments that will house over 600 residents and ground floor commercial space exceeding 60,000 square feet.
