5K On The Runway

Join the Newport News/Williamsburg International Airport (PHF) to celebrate 70 years of air service and bringing the community together with the inaugural community wide 5K On The Runway!  This race is a unique opportunity to see the airport like you’ve never seen it before; run on airport taxiways and runways for a one of a kind experience. PHF has selected the Downtown Hampton Child Development Center (DHCDC) as their charitable partner for their first 5K On The Runway. All net proceeds will go to The Downtown Hampton Child Development Center (DHCDC). DHCDC provides assistance to low-income families that need help with childcare. Runners can also donate to this organization via their website. Between 800-1000 runners are expected so make sure you sign up today!
